We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, spending approximately 40 minutes to an hour walking along the picturesque paths. This park is also a haven for nature lovers, as it offers the chance to spot wallabies and other wildlife. Moreover, it’s free to enter and is perfect for a family outing.
It is important to note that visitors should be prepared for the weather conditions while visiting the rainforest. During our visit, it was raining, and I had worn shorts which was not ideal. Upon my return to the car, I noticed that I had a few leeches attached to me, reminding me that it is necessary to wear appropriate clothing, especially during rainy weather. Despite this minor inconvenience, I love visiting rainforests during the rain as it brings the environment to life and enhances the experience.
